God/Jesus/Mary/Joseph
Did the ancients realize what an odd situation they were creating when they wrote the Bible. We know it's a collection of manuscripts of old stories (selected) but look what happens, when they didn't think these things out. Most Christians will say that God is Jesus and vice-versa.
God visited Mary for the immaculate conception,whatever that means. But before conception, God would have had to marry Mary, otherwise Jesus would have been born a bastard, also it's a sin to cohabit with an unmarried girl today, so it had to have been then also, and if He hadn't married her, then he would have commited a sin (Gasp!)
Although He married her there's no mention of divorce. Since Jesus is God, then Mary is both his wife and mother, and Jesus is his own Son, also He's his own father,and since there was no divorce,Mary, Jesus,God, and Joseph were all living as bigamists. Bigamy is against the law today and considered a sin, so it must have been a sin back then also. After impregnating Mary, God cut out on her, and didn't provide any child support, That is against the law today, and whether i'st a sin , I know not, but it's not a very nice thing to do, impregnate a very young girl, and then leave her to raise the child without any support. In todays court, since God and Mary was still married, most courts would award Mary half (at least) of her husband's wealth. This would have meant Half of the Christians in the world, Half of Heaven's wealth (including those streets of pure gold!) Then if Mary divorced God, Including the swag she already had, her son Jesus/God would still have the other half, so Mary would be a very wealthy woman!
Contrary to what Christians may say, If bigamy or anything else is a sin today then it was a sin 2, 3 thousand years ago. The customs may be different at different periods of time, but the parameters of sin doesn't change.
