This is what I read in the Holy Bible:
That God speaks in parables:
Eze 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
Psa 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Jesus did not speak except in parables:
Mar 4:34 BUT WITHOUT A PARABLE SPAKE HE NOT UNTO THEM: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
Were Peter, John, Paul, or modern professing apostles authorized to expound on the words of our Lord that are expressed in parables?
Mar 4:34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and WHEN THEY WERE ALONE, HE EXPOUNDED ALL THINGS TO HIS DISCIPLES.
Because many people do not believe and accept the foregoing truth, Christianity today is divided into sects and denominations.
Leaders of every sect and denomination take upon themselves the authority expounding on the word of God. This is an abomination to God:
Jer 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; CURSED BE THE MAN THAT TRUSTETH IN MAN, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Who do not use own understanding in interpreting the word of God?
Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING.
In the eyes of our Lord, in view of foregoing, can we not see the situation during the time of Noah clearly obtaining in our time?
