Q: Matthew 17:1 and Mark 9:1-2 say that Jesus took Peter, James, and John to a high mountain where the Transfiguration occurred after six days from the preceding events. But Luke 9:27-28 says it was eight days. Isnt this a contradiction?

A: No; the objector has made a partial quotation. Luke 9:28 preludes the Transfiguration by saying Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings. Notice the word about there. Lemme repeat that (since in the Book of Lost Posts, I made the same observation, but it apparently had no effect). Notice the word "about" there. Six is about eight.
