Q: In Matthew 19:14, Jesus describes some little children by saying that of such is the kingdom of heaven. But elsewhere, such as in First Cor. 13:11, childishness is discouraged. Isnt this a contradiction?
A: No; Jesus is describing characteristics of children such as their trust in good parents; Paul in I Cor. 13:11, is describing childish attachments. See the comments on Matthew 18:3.
