Q: In Matthew 24:16, Jesus says Let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains. Why? Cant God find and kill them there, too?

A: Apparently the SAB-objector has misunderstood this verse. It is not advice to the enemies of God, but to His friends: as soon as the abomination of desolation occurs, people should get out of Judea (and especially out of Jerusalem -- cf. Luke 21:21) and flee to the mountains. The idea is that any disciples in Judea when the foretold events occur should seek to hide from Gods enemies (not from God) in the mountains.
