On the SAB site, there is a list of biblical passages that support Moses receiving the commandments either on Mount Sinai or Mount Horeb.

I've always found it interesting that Egypt seems to be the place where the Hebrew people cultivated there history. So I researched Egyptian history. There I've found the list of 42 principles by which the ancient Egyptian people lived. Laws of truth, & righteousness. Laws that include the ten commandments and were supposedly given to Moses by God after they fleeing from Egypt. These principles date back well before the time of Moses; also "Moses was learned in all the ways of the Egyptians" - Acts 7:22.
Isn't it easier to believe that the laws Moses gave to the Hebrew people were from Egypt considering the contradiction in the bible. Why do people debate back and forth over direct contradictions, instead of believing the most likely answer to the question. Is it so hard to consider that Moses actually did get the commandments from Egypt because that seems to be the more likely conclusion to me?
