Ah. My short answer is, "I think that the voice spoke to Jesus directly." But the answer is nuanced along the lines that I presented in the earlier post: the scene was like a coronation ~~ when someone puts the crown on the prince's head, and says, say, "I now declare you, Henry, King of Northumbria!", that person is simultaneously communicating to the onlooking Nurthumbrians that Henry has been declared to be their king. Something very analogous is going on at Jesus' baptism.
