I've been trying not to bother you Waterrock. I know you are busy. But I must point it out when you do not answer the question.
In this case the question is: Did God address Jesus directly at his baptism? I could not find an answer in your response. |

My short answer is, "I think that the voice spoke to Jesus directly." But the answer is nuanced along the lines that I presented in the earlier post: the scene was like a coronation ~~ when someone puts the crown on the prince's head, and says, say, "I now declare you, Henry, King of Northumbria!", that person is simultaneously communicating to the onlooking Nurthumbrians that Henry has been declared to be their king.
