This issue has been a very difficult one to sort through... especially with regard to what Jesus said about remarriage of divorced persons. The explanations I have reviewed from various churches always seemed to dodge what Jesus said in Mark and Luke...

The following link provides an analysis that is completely different from what I have seen before, and it seems to me to be the most compelling I have come across thus far... I would tend to err on the side of what Jesus said in Mark and Luke before giving a green light to remarriage of Christians to divorced persons.
