Many if not all Old Testament Kings grasped the black arts for power (and of them all Solomon was chief), if not by person then by others standing by for that very purpose. Fallen Angels, Fallen Angels, God was very harsh in those days and much remained to be sorted out because of the rupture to God's original plan caused by the "Enemy". In the old the Father taught "An Eye For An Eye And A Tooth For A Tooth", in the New, the Son "Love Your Enemies". Why compare the two in such a dark manner? The Father slayed by the ten thousands but the Son slay's not any? It is not sin to the Holies to slay errant flesh by the ten thousands but a simple cleansing, as "All souls are mine and return to me". And also the elements slay according to their times and circuits.
The Son came not to change but fullfill the Law, even compounding those which already existed and adding a few himself. Then we have Paul, who entered in among the Disciples in a strange way (for the sake of a strange people) and speaks of the old Law as being of none affect and therefore to be cast out like an old garment? What manner of speech is this? Truly, if not a jot or tittle will be passed over 'til all be fullfilled, we had best pay very close attention to that Law!

In all matters of scriptual confusion I flee to the the very words of the Christ, that failing in clarity or scope I turn to the Holy Spirit, and that not satisfying I leave it to the Law and the Prophets and another time.
Waterrock; To properly tend the sheep of God you must have a staff of Righteousness come by the Holy Spirit. I see forethought and logic in your speech but not the Spirit. Perhaps we could settle on a single point for serious and possibly revealing benefit to all concerned?
