it may be helpful for some to realize the physical logistics of moving from galilee to jerusalem. i lived in israel for two years and jerusalem is only about an hour and half drive from galilee and that includes going through the pesky palestinian check points, so it would easily have been no longer than a good day's journey on foot to folks who were used to such travel.
