You forgot to incorporate Papias chariot crushing into your explanation of events.
So here is my explanation. A very fat Judas (some people eat a lot when depressed and he could afford it you know with the money he got) in a drunken stupor went with another drunken friend by way of Judas new chariot out to a field Judas recently purchased. (people also buy things when depressed) The plan was to hang himself by having his friend drive the chariot out from under Judas leaving him hanging in the air.(Judas was to fat to climb up on a horse or anything) Well things didn't go as planned. Just as Judas got the noose around his neck and the rope over a limb, the other end of the rope landed on one of the horses noses startling it. The horses reared backwards and Judas fell head first out of the chariot. The limb broke because of his obesity and Judas landed on the ground between the horses and the tree. The horses startled by the snapping branch lunged forward in an attempt to break away from the chariot by slamming it against the tree. Judas drunk and to obese to move out of the way was crushed.
