There shall come a star out of Jacob, a sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
This refers to King David. When did Jesus strike the corners of Moab? |

There is a difference between foretelling and forth telling. This was not so much a case of astrology, but a case of proclamation. Wise men still seek Him...

Why wouldn't it be Astrology?
What's wrong with it if it is? Genesis says that the Sun and other shiny things rolling around in the firmament are for 'signs and portents.' Sounds like Astrology, nu? |

the word of God makes clarity that astrology is not a holy practice, but a practice of iniquity. the use of stars for divinatory purposes is evil. This does not disclude that astrology exists, that it was used, is used or that the stars have been looked at for signs.
There are signs in the heavens. Some signs might even mark special occasions. However, the observation of these for divinition is false. It is noted that those who wish to escape the wrath of God will find no escape. Stargazers and astrologers will not be able to figure out the answers from the stars, because they themselves are decieved. |
