Ok, this might not seem that evident because of the translation, but the word used as "child" is a male form of the word. (Well, I hope Daystar can check this out in hebrew. But in MY Bible (hungarian) it definitly uses "son".)
This was written in Greek. The interpretor I`v got would read , roughly that 'the sons of Israel are given in mariage and take a wife'.
