I know the bible is not a "technical instruction book" but if the reader starts editing out things he doesnt like and adding gravatis to things that he likes then the "source" book is really only a catalyst for the readers own mind to create subjective concepts. This is not how Christian see the Bible and I doubt Luther would have wanted this with the introduction of self-read bibles.
