The point was, you were making it out that only Christians were subject to the Soviet secret police and persecutions. They weren't. But anecdotally, I only had that one example to express. Jews, believers of all stripes suffered under all the atheist leaders in the USSR.

You say "Jesus knew that non-Christians would betray their Christian relatives", and to back that up, you cite the persecution that the USSR did to Christians. ...while ignoring that it wasn't just Christian persecution, that all religions were being repressed. Rendering it useless as a story to back up Christians being set apart for persecution. But no! Your point was that all religions were targetted in Soviet Russia. Rendering it a non-sequitor. But damn those atheists anyway! It must've been their atheism that caused those power-hungry madmen to target people adhering to anything but the State. Yeah! What was your point again?

You took a twist of the verse in Matthew 10:21 so as to try to make it look like it was Christian vs Christian violence/betrayal. I simply went back to the proper understanding of the verse.
