Not in the name of atheism, no. In the name of Communism, "The State", power, "the greater good", greed, etc. sure.

The point was, you were making it out that only Christians were subject to the Soviet secret police and persecutions. They weren't. Many suffered, not just Christians, and not in the name of Atheism, but in the name of Communism, Socialism, and power hungry madmen.

Actually I wasn't.

But anecdotally, I only had that one example to express.

Jews, believers of all stripes suffered under all the atheist leaders in the USSR.
