Actually, on some things there are black and white answers.....certainly ''if a Christian is fiddling kids" and you personally know it, there is no need for debate or holding back......you go to the person, give them 24 hours to go to quit their position in the congregation and, if they refuse, you go to the organization yourself and let proper authorities know what you know.
You show your own ignorance of how Christianity works by trying to box a black/white issue as if it were a matter of conscience, - NannyG123

You would give a child molester 24 hour to stop doing it? If he/she didn't stop, then and only then would tell their church? That is amazing.

Sorry, I don't care who it is, I would run straight to the police with what I know.

Not being a Baptist I have no dog in their hunt, so to speak...sort of like the choice in the Catholic Church of requiring priest to be celibate.
Do American women serve in combat?
I know some muslim women have been used to blow themselves up, but from interviews with the few captured alive it appears they were coerced into the bomb belt by emotional blackmail and the threat of being ''honor killed'' if they refused. - NannyG123

Baptist, Catholic, etc they are all still christians.

I knew you would have to say something about muslims.

You do realize that modern Israel came to be through terrorism don't you?!

Lastly, being a Christian is a growing process, not like a vaccination. People mature, grow as Christians all their lives. That's why I'm not going to slam some spiritual babe who thinks he sees the Virgin Mary in an oil stain or pancake or whatever. - NannyG123

Of course not, even an evil child molesting christian is better than a hard working peace loving muslim.

I seem to have focused on the religious part.

I forgot to mention that, yes, I would go straight to the police if I personally knew (eyewitnessed or heard myself) that anyone was molesting a child.

I left that out only because I was focusing on spiritual remedies instead of secular ones.

BTW, I have never had any personal knowledge of any such thing in all my years associated with a church.
