I'll add one detail about the use of the term "disbeliever/unbeliever." In verse 9:32, Christians and Jews are called "Kafirun" and in 9:33 are called "Mushrikun". These terms refer to disbelievers, polytheists, those who reject the Oneness of Allah and Mohammad's revelations (i.e., Koran).
