All the facts remain as above. As it appears 15,000 (or fifteen thousand) is an obvious arithmetic mistake on my part. The original point was not the amount of time, but the fact that the words of the Koran remain perfectly truthful.

The amount of time it has remained truthful has no effect on my claim, even if it were 15 days. The problem seems to be that some of you don't seem to grasp the real matter at hand here, which has nothing to do with amounts of time.

Arithmetic is anything to do with addition, subtraction, division etc...

I was adding in multiples of 1000 instead of 100. When you corrected me the first time I didn't even see the difference, hence my words. It was a mathematics error on my part, I've already admitted that fact. If I had a problem with millenniums and centuries that has nothing to do with the rest of what I said.

Furthermore, a book being accurate to the word before it was written is a logical error. That doesn't make any sense and shows that there is a genuine mistake from the author. Why you assumed that I meant that the book was written before it was makes no sense to me. That's something you've attributed to me and had nothing to do with the point I was addressing about god's word not being changed.

On an extra note, if I did mean that the book was written 15,000 years ago that would go against everything the book stands for, I.e. being written as soon as the word's left Mohammed's lips. How could that happen before the existence of the book. That would only be another contradiction. Not a good thing as you seem to think it would be.

I'm saying you're in error in assuming that it could ever be a good thing. Especially after me saying that it was a arithmetic error on my part.

The time really didn't bother me. If you notice, there is no rounding technique that could round 1,500 to 15,000. Hence there was clearly an error on my part. Mathematics are absolute, the only error that occurs is due to miscalculation of the human mind. This was merely a mathematical error.

I'm sorry, I was mistaken and I didn't realise. Can we leave it at that?

I'll be happy to deal with any other real points concerning my text.

I don't consider myself an apologist really, the Koran defends itself, it doesn't need me at all. I'm only here to elucidate that matter and not to add any more defence to the book.
