He would be responsible for her pursuit of another man, but maybe in this case it's not considered adultery, so she's not guilty of any sin.

You're probably right. In which case she's an adulterer either way and the only distinction is if he 'caused' her to be one or not.
I really have no idea. However, if I were a believer and I thought my salvation might be at stake, I think I'd remain single, just to be sure.
