Thats the point of religion, faith, and if it is something your conscience doesn't agree with seek the doctrine behind it or a theological explanation before you slander it.
There is a lot of discrimination practiced by humans, many of whom can point to at least one verse in The Books that not only supports this behavior, sometimes demands it.
I am quite comfortable with 'slandering' this behavior no matter what the doctrinal explanation may be.
Just because someone can make sense of the practice doesn't mean it is right, or i have to tolerate such behavior.
