Oh yeah, they all do it.
Make no mistake, I am not letting the Mormons off the hook for their own snobbish behavior. I got to tour a new Mormon temple years ago. (They let the unsaved see it after construction was completed and before it was consecrated.) Beautiful architecture, although the baptismal font was a bit gaudy and overdone, I thought.
Anyway, while waiting for the tour, they treated us to an "educational" video, all about how every other church has misinterpreted the scripture, and God chose the prophet Joseph Smith to restart the Lord's true church the way it was meant to be. In other words, just one more variation on the same old "we're saved and they're not" line of crap that comes from every other sect. I already thought that sort of thing was ridiculous and childish by the 7th grade, but some folks just never grow out of it I guess.
I'm just saying, Branch Davidians, they're not. They are quite mainstream.
