I'm bumping this thread up, so everyone can see exactly where this "goliah" character once promised to go away and never return... only to return a year and a half later, spouting exactly the same bullshit.
If he now wants to come back and share more of his New and Unique Insight as revealed to him by God, that's fine and good. It seems to me, though, that if he were really in possession of the truth, and he really felt it was his God-given duty to share it, he wouldn't have given up so easily the first time. According to his beliefs, our very souls are at stake - either he does not care, or he does not truly believe what he preaches.
Furthermore, if he'd really wanted to "disappear" and have his account and posts erased, he could have done so very easily. Instead, he posts a message to the effect that he would want it done... and does nothing to make it actually happen. This is the equivalent of a little child whining that he's going to take his ball and go home, but then sitting on the sidelines in a sulking funk, waiting for someone to ask what's wrong so he has an excuse to throw a fit about it.
In short, goliah is a childish brat who lacks the courage of his convictions. As a messenger of God's Truth, he frankly sucks.
