I dont think you can paint a broad stroke for tolerance or intolerance that will apply to everything. You can only control your actions and reactions to them both. There will always be situations personally, community wide or globally that we will tolerate or not. God told Noah that if a man kills a man then he in turn shall be killed, but in this world we have built up tolerances against this in many ways. Would we be intolerant if we attack people or groups that have made it their lives mission to kill others if they only speak the words but have not done the deed. There can almost always be an argument for both sides of a situation.
