Giving credit where credit is due is an idea which I usually support. For instance, this thread contains something of value from each of the contributors. Furthermore, each post and reply shows that thought was given to the topic or topics. The obvious sincerity was the main factor which persuaded me to make a contribution to this discussion. In contrast, many forums are merely places wherein people can indulge in insulting each other, apparently for the fun of it. Retch.

However that might be, this thread mentions many topics. To avoid making my reply longer than need be, I will not explicitly mention each topic in the belief that everybody here can realize what shoe fits which foot.

The Bible warned us at least twice that additions had been made to it. The first known warning is in Matthew 13:33 which reads, "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." The second was in Luke which reads, "13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." Leaven adds to the apparent size of the dough without adding to the actual mass of the dough. We were therefore warned that words had been added to the word of the most high God.

The obvious remedy would be to remove those added words. An academic group devotes its energy to that task. Unfortunately, that group does not have an objective way to do it. So they sometimes throw out the baby with the bathwater.

An objective way was thrice mentioned. Once in Deuteronomy 19:15 which reads, "One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established." Again in
Matthew 18:16 which reads, "But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." Yet again in 2 Corinthians 13:1 which reads, "This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." Their commonality reads, "Every word shall be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses." It is the commonality which shows the way to remove the added words.

As an aside, this method is circular and must needs be circular because nothing establishes the word of God except itself. That is, the word of the most high God is established by itself, not by some other word.

The circularity of it having been mentioned, the project to examine the words in the Bible, by this method, began in 1993. The first batch of results was published on paper in 1995. The first publication on the internet was made in 1997. Additional discoveries of the word of the most high God have also been published on the internet. I think the point of the leaven parable is that a "little spoils the whole"... not that leaven creates bloating.

So it is true despite the logical fallacy?

Understanding what is meant by what is said:
That's an important topic, because merely knowing what the most high God actually said or did is of no benefit unless it is also understood. One of the helpful things to understand is that the word of the most high God has a particular structure. The structure is called a parable. A parable is of two sorts. Either it is a comparison of similar items or situations; or it is a comparison of contrasting items or situations. If it is a comparison of similar items or situations, then both halves of it must be explicitly stated. If it is a comparison of contrast, then merely one half needs to be stated, because the contrasting half can always be constructed from the half which is explicitly stated. One consequence of this situation is that some people mistake an explicit half of a comparison of contrast to be merely a statement of fact. For instance, a portion of the testimony which has been established to be the testimony of the most high God reads, "All things spake Jesus unto the multitude with parables." If the the implicit contrast were to be written, it would read, "Some things spake somebody else unto the multitude without parables." Unfortunately, Occidentals are not usually aware that they need to mentally contruct the implied half of the parables, the Oriental parallelisms, which have the most high God as their originator. Further the topic of parables, it was discovered that an explicit explanation was given for merely one parable in all of the testimony which was established to be the testimony of the most high God. It was if to say, "Start here." So that parable, commonly called "The Parable of the Sower", was used as the starting place to understand the parables.
