Once again, one has to ask how christains keep a straight face, moving all the footnotes around. It seems more likely that almost anyone hearing "There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till" would be expecting an event within human lifetime.
I need a better argument on how to distinguish between literal and metaphor statements in The Books than 'because this way it works.'
