You're assuming that the Gospels were never ever edited or redacted in any way, aren't you? And did anyone else anywhere ever mention the place? What does the archaeological evidence form Nazaret' suggest about the date of its settlement?

I'm not willing to make such an assumption: how old is the oldest manuscript copy of any Gospel we have dated?
