what a style of apologetics - at the first question, throw invective. is this going to be the style of your new web site?
Quote: he said WHERE DO YOU GET THAT WARPED IDEA FROM, because it certainly isn't from the text. edit to add and perhaps you should start by defining the word 'cruel' for us, because you don't appear to be working from the standard definition. |

Edit To Add This Jeff... | #3
|
You have said nothing.
You are in fact, the master of it. Try harder so as not to bother those of us who have the power to actually speak. I mean... It couldn't get any worse, could it, doofus? Just keep it quite while us invertibrates discuss just exactly what is needed to be done with you! Who is with me on this? |

Quote: here it is again, so read carefully you have said that the phrase 'fruits of the ground' means 'leftover stuff lying on the ground', when strong's says it means 'produce derived from agriculture'. there's nothing in the text that says that cain was offering less than his best. in fact, god says 'If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?' god hadn't rejected cain, just his sacrifice, so cain must have donest well. indeed, if he wasn't putting much effort into it in the first place, it's unlikely that he'd kill his brother when he lost. so the question remains, where do you get that warped idea from? Quote: blah blah blah can you define 'cruel' or not? |

Quote:My magic 8-ball says that the chances are good. My tarot cards say that 'Dr.' Earthling II will travel by water, be seduced by a tall, dark, handsome man, then get gang-raped by a tribe of otters. Always loved that deck. |

That Is Why You Are So Much Like A Woman, Keith. | #6

Anyway, I think that it might be possible you know TOO MUCH, Keith.
Too Much. Oooohhhh yeay. To much of a thing is nothing more than a thing. I aint talking about that doll you paid so much money for and who you would swear talks to you. Like I talk to you? Honey? You know? Cause ... well that is about all you ever talk about. You know? |

Oooh, insults. | #7 | ||

You need to realize, that just like the theology you offer, you've never given me a reason to care.
Your shots are predictable and lame, wide of the mark, meaningless in their description of your targets, while quite revealing of you, or at least what you think would be a killing blow. You haven't shown anything to back up your ideas on God or the Books, religion or the various charges of homosexuality you fling around like nerf darts. Eh, you're not worth the effort. And for entertainment purposes, your content/invective ratio is circling the drain. I expect a series of deletions any time now. Time for beddy bye. |

Is It My Purpose? | #8 | ||
|
How much do you think YOU have to say to ME for me to know what I need to know about you? For you to even say that I care what you think or that I would be droll enough to place some importance on what you think I think would kind of muck it all up.
That is why I don't come here under that illusion. I don't give a shit what you think and I expect the same. Various charges of homosexuality? Man you are dumb and weak. |

Quote: Then, why waste the energy debunking us? Religion encysts past mythologies: guesses, hidden assumptions of trust in the universe, pronouncements made in search of personal power, all mingled with shreds of enlightenment. And always an unspoken commandment: Thou shalt not question! We break that commandment daily in the harnessing of human imagination to our deepest creativity. -Chapterhouse: Dune ***NOTE: All references to any God, gods, or other metaphysical concepts are hypothetical in nature and do not imply belief in said deities unless specifically indicated. Worse, why waste energy failing to debunk us?

Cruelty | #11 | ||
|
Cruelty is dependant upon the narrow reference point of the observer - usually without much thought given to the subject.
For example. If a suppossed myth offers life forever in a paradise earth why would Jeff, completely ignorant of everything to do with it object? Cruelty. Ignorance. Cruel ignorance, so often the two go hand in hand. Jeff thinks he knows what he is talking about, but Jeff would have difficulty in imagining why he would waste his time on a myth. Ignorance. The text said exactly what I said it did, if it doesn't why don't you indicate otherwise? |
