Excellent discussion you two, I enjoyed reading it. Why can't we take it for what it says? Why must we jump through philosophical hoops to attempt to explain what is obviously there? Why can't Waterrock just admit that the writer of Matthew intended to infer that the body of the saints were risen to life and people saw them? God raised Jesus (so the story goes) why can't he raise the bodies of the saints?
