"Haters of God want to be their own gods by having control over their own lives, and they engage in the ultimate self-promotion by deceving themselves into thinking that they are their own gods."
Gee, DaFT - you sure seem to think you know what's going on in the hearts of all the 'non-believers'.
I want to have all the control over my own life that I can - but that's because I love GOD, not hate Him. If I don't manage to even control myself, then how can I assist Him in removing evils and enhancing the good of His creation? Where better way to develop the necessary patience and persistence, but in first overcoming some of my own 'shortages'?
