Second coming- problems
On asked if Jews expect another prophet, Jewish response is: No, not specifically. But also that if a prophet does come, he will be known immidiately. But they
do not expect another Jesus, one was too many for them.
Do the muslims expect second coming? No. For them Isa did not die, therefore it is blasphemy to talk of his return. That in fact has been a big bone of contention too.
Do Buddhists expect a saviour? No, they do not belive in saviours, but Buddha might return. After all they believe in reincarnation of Buddha.
Do Hindus expect a prophet? NO, the concept of prophet is not there. Isa was not accepted as an avatar once, there is no reason they will accept another Isa. But they do expect Lord Kalki, but 327,000 years hence. No open or vague time frame.
Xians expect second coming. After all Jesus assured his audience that he will return within the life time of those present. Of course he did not. Subsequently, there have numerous expectations and false starts and scares of the second coming. Each turned out to be false.
Recall the parable of the boy who cried WOLF once too often. When the wolf did come, nobody paid any heed to his cries. Second coming, if it happens is likely to meet the same fate. Even xians will be wary of such a claimant. They are so mortally afraid of an anti Christ coming, they will hound the real one.
For Jews, Christ was a heretic once and they crucified him. Second time around it will not be much different, though crucifying will not be easy.
Muslims will treat such a claimant as a blasphemer. If they do not succeed in beheading him, they will surely put a price on his head.
As for abrahmic ones are concerned, they are not likely to heed but, but may persecute him.
What about Buddhists and Hindus? For them Jesus is not much, not at par with Buddha or Krishna. They might still listen to him, but not nod in acceptance. But then, they are most likely the ones who will shelter him from persecution and be his saviours.
