Matthew - My premise was "a god like creature influences life on earth" and my collection of evidence and facts from anthropology, chemistry, did not provide any evidence of any influence on atoms, humans, language, social structures or history on earth that is not explained by an existing, natural, testable, phenomena.
The above quote comes from a discussion that Matthew and I were having on the General board. What I got from the discussion is that Matthew, and other skeptics of the Bible I would assume have partaken in a similar search and have concluded a similar line of thought. That there is an absence of evidence from anthropology and chemistry, for example, of a Creator such as Jehovah God of the Bible when it comes to like he said ... atoms, humans, language, social structures or history on earth that is not explained by an existing, natural, testable, phenomena.
I would disagree with that as far as humans, language, social structures and history on earth, but what evidence would one expect to find from anthropology and chemistry providing any evidence of any influence of a "god like creature," though that term to me seems nonsensical. We are talking about a Creator God, not a (created) god like creature.
