What follows is agreed on my most all scholars to be a later addition, since we have found versions of Mark with three other endings, plus copies without anything after verse 8 at all. However, in the NIV, it states: &quot;The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20.&quot; Many biblical scholars believe that 16:9-20 were added much later and as such are not accurate; at any rate, there is enough doubt about the accuracy of verses 10 and 11 that a contradiction is still likely to exist. ]]></description>
