TB is an airborne disease,. It isn`t contracted by consumption,and deer have more of a tenency to infect , than pigs.

It simply is a taboo for Islam and Judaism.

Regardless of any rationalisation I can make for this (and there are many), the fact remains that the Quran states that we don't eat Pork, because it's an impure meat.
