Verses 69-76 summarize Genesis 18, with a few differences. Verse 70 seems to be based on a rabbinical embellishment of the story, in which the visitors were angels (Michael, Gabriel, and another), who do not eat. In v. 71, the Quran disagrees with the Bible about the timing of Sarahs laughter. In Genesis 18, she laughs when she hears that she will have a son.
