Oh by the way, you should never prove something to a skeptic by using as proof what the person is already skeptical about. The guy in the 2nd link uses the bible to prove Jonah really existed by quoting the bible.

A: Its a translation-thing. Both the Hebrew term used in Jonah (dag gadol) and the Greek term used in Matthew 12:40 (khtous) are too broad to determine if the creature which swallowed Jonah was a whale, or something else.
